If I have any card that designates itself as an opponents attack target, Decoyroid for example, and I have a generic monster equipped with ring of magnetism, does this cause an infinite loop or does it produce a wall that cannot be attacked as a target cannon be selected. Thanks Adam Gough 15:29, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- "Ring of Magnetism" redirects the attack after the attack is declared. You choose the target as if "Ring of Magnetism" isn't there, and then "Ring of Magnetism" kicks in and redirects the attack. In your situation, your opponent can only attack "Decoyroid", and after he declares the attack, "Ring of Magnetism" switches the target to the equipped monster. No infinite loop occurs.
- If you were using "Raregold Armor", then your opponent can't attack any monster other than "Decoyroid", and he can't attack "Decoyroid" (due to "Raregold Armor"), so he can't attack. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 19:10, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
