If Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine destroys Artifact Ignition (summoned by Magical Hats) by battle, does its graveyard effect get negated? Curious because Barbaroid claims it will negate the effect of "that monster". Does Barbaroid's negation apply to destroyed Pendulum monsters, monsters that are banished, or cards that are revived from the graveyard?Thechosenone124 (talk • contribs) 06:56, November 8, 2015 (UTC)
- OOooo
- Good Question.
- For Pendulums or Banished, I would assume yes. As long as it killed them, It shouldn't matter where they end up. That's just a logical extrapolation of "including in the Graveyard" and there is no reason (or precedent that I know of) that would suggest it negates Graveyard-bound deaths only just because it doesn't mention the other possible zones.
- as for Ignition, I can safely say it will NOT Negate it. Applying rulings from Trap Monsters here as other things that trigger specifically on Monster deaths (such as Infernity Avenger or Flamvell Firedog) do not trigger.
