Forum:Barbaroid vs Bujin Yamato

Suppose Barbaroid, the Ultimate Battle Machine destroys my Bujin Yamato by battle and negates its effect. Later, Skill Drain is activated while a different Bujin Yamato is on my side of the field. Can I use Call of the Haunted on the Yamato in my grave?

Note: I ask this because I know that unclassified effects can be negated (Grapha vs Ha Des), and I heard the the reason you can't summon Yamato while you control Yamato while Skill Drain is active because of the effect of the one in the grave/hand/graveyard/etc. In my scenario, both Yamatos are negated. Holy fuck that is a damn good question...

You heard correct, "Can control only 1" effects are active at all times, even in hand or grave, so negating the on field one means nothing as the OTHER copies effect would be active and prevent it. but if they are negated in both zones...

I think you are can put 2 Yamatos on the field in this case, I don't know of have any precedent or rulings to say otherwise so simple logic says it works.
