Batteryman Industrial Strength's Card Effect says that he cannot be Special Summoned except by removing 2 "Batteryman" monsters from play. What does that mean? Does it mean that you can simply SS it by removing 2 BM monsters from play, or if I want to SS him with, say, Batteryman Charger, I will have to remove 2 BM monsters from play first, then summon him with BMC's effect? Can somebody answer please? I don't want to cheat. --ThunderPole 17:32, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Industrial Stength can ONLY be SS by removing from play 2 from your graveyard, charger can't summon him.

Effects that are limits tend to override effects that are loosely based.

The easy way to tell is to look at Charger's effect, and say each step out loud of what you would want to do. "Special Summon Industrial Strength by the effect of Charger"

You simply can't do it because the only way to SS is with the removing from play.Lostconfound19 18:56, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

So.. all I have to do is remove 2 BM monsters in my GY from play, and I can summon that BMIS to the field? Doesn't that seem a little powerfull?--ThunderPole 21:07, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

  • That's all you have to do. But, you have to Special Summon him from your hand, and it only works during your Main Phase. Plus, if he's destroyed, then you can't revive him with "Monster Reborn" etc. - you have to return him to your hand and Special Summon him by his method again. --Deus Ex Machina 21:18, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Cool, thanks! --ThunderPole 13:04, 5 July 2008 (UTC)
