What happens during "Substep 2: Before Damage Step"?
1) Can P1 declare an attack, then both players pass priority into Substep 2: Before Damage Step, and then P1 activates Book of Moon on an opponent's monster?
2) Will P2 be able to activate cards such as Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor, etc in response to P1's Book of Moon during the Substep 2: Before Damage Step?
3) May you give me general examples of types of cards or specific cards that can be activated in the Substep 2: Before Damage Step.
I'm just generally confused about what happens in the Substep 2: Before Damage Step, so any help is appreciated.

From what I've gathered, does that mean that I can
Declare an attack > both players pass priority > then activate Book of Moon while P2 is unable to activate Mirror Force now?
- Well, After you declare an attack (and pass priority), then your opponent can activate Mirror Force now. If he passes too, then you can activate Book of Moon in a new chain. The last thing that happened is not the declaration of an attack anymore, so the opponent cannot chain Mirror Force at that time. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 12:23, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
