===Battle Tuned=== I run three and feel its a must have. I see very little discussion about this card and have been shot down on my techniques. I would like your inputs. Pro's

  1. It has a quick play spell speed - you can use it on your opponents turn.
  2. You can chain to it if they use something like Torrential Tributeto boost the attack of one of your monsters.
  3. You can target any monster you have on the field faceup.
  4. Chain 2 battle tuned on one monster. Game over.

Con's It sends your syncro out of play from the graveyard. Try it Use it on a monster that can attack dirrectly to your opponents life points. Flame Sprite, note: my opponent uses this effect and I immediately do my best to destroy her because of her own effect.Vanhelsink 15:34, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

My thoughts

I like the card, I have thought about running it in several of my decks, but have not yet because of other cards that I feel would run smoother with my decks. I have seen my best friend use it usually on his already powered up Junk Warrior his deck is built around Junk Warrior, therefore he has a ton of 2nd level monsters in his deck, he at the minimum has his Junk Warrior at 5900 Attack with Krebons and 3 Quillbolts that return to the field as soon as he summons Junk Synchron He then usually removes from play his Junk Synchron for Battle Tuned adding an additional 1300 to his J Warrior. He has powered up his Junk Warrior to a 7900 attack at one time.

My thoughts on the card, if you rely heavily on your graveyard, ie Monster Reborn and Monster Reincarnation to keep synchro summoning bad choice of card, if you don't then throw at least one in there, though I wouldn't run more then 2 at most, since there are more cards out there that would fit better. The effect after all is permanent.

Battle Tuned is good, but...

Using Battle Tuned after Torrential Tribute is kinda pointless, unless you meant somthing else.

Opponent uses TT, you chain with Battle Tuned,... Your monster is stronger!!!!

then blows up =/ unless its Elemental Hero Wildheart

Your right ... I meant to say Heavy Storm , not TTribute. Heavy Storm blows up the back field (trap card zone), hense you can chain Battle Tuned to that because its a quick play. ... Persay, your opponent uesd Heavy storm to clear any counter traps to enter his/her battle stage, any monster on the field gets its ATK power boosted, it can stop an attack or at least lower your battle damage amount. other cards

There are sum other cards you can use to boost atk without removing your monsters two that i have found useful are Energy Drain and Deal of Phantom
