I've been told twice today that Special Summoned monsters can have their battle positions changed in the same turn they were summoned.
As far as I knew, once anything gets summoned in a specific position, it can't change it unless some card effect causes it to in the same turn. The specific monster was "Blackship of Corn" (whatever number it is.) Normally i'd just let someone fix a mistake in summoning if it just happened, but in this specific case the person doing it didn't let me take back my moves either, so I didn't feel like letting him go with anything he tried to pull, but didn't bother to prolong the duel with argument since I was short on time.
So...is it true or not? Can you change a monster Special Summoned in Attack position to Defense in the same turn, only because it is Special Summoned? Tenebrae Candidae (talk • contribs) 22:22, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
- No. See Battle position changes. If you need something more official, check the latest rulebook, there might be something in there. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 23:29, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
