Well i just saw and episode of the 5D's and i got to thinking, "This deck isn't half bad". You see, often, deck that has no support have never been seen. But the archetype i saw has support from other decks that can make this deck very powerful and very fun. Zombie's have lost a lot of power due to the ban list. Mezuki, Plaguespreader Zombie and Card of Safe Return made this deck what it is but now they can hold their own. I plan on bringing them back from the grave. No pun intended. Traditional zombie will "burn" up the dueling world Ladies and Gents, I give you Burning Life.

Now let me explain this deck. This deck is based around Hunter Pace's deck. Skull Flame can skip my draw phase and add a Burning Skull Head to my hand instead. From this point, one of two things can happen. I can special summon the Burning Skull Head to deal 1000 points of damage or it can be used for something a bit more powerful. I can send that same card back to the grave for my Zombie Master and bring back a stronger zombie from my grave. I know Skull Flame is a lv8 monster but with 2000 defense points, Pyramid Turtle makes my life easier when it comes to summoning him. Supersonic Skull Flame adds up to 1200 points of damage per round. If i can somehow summon both, my opponent will lose 2400 each turn. He can also bring back Skull Flame to use with Burning Skull Head for a powerful burn strategy. Burial from a Different Dimension makes sure i will have the monsters I need in the grave, since i remove plenty of my own monsters. It can also help with getting Mezuki and Plaguespread Zombie back to the grave. So long as I can get Card of Safe Return in play soon enough, Il Blud will help in getting me all the draw power I need but just in case, I packed in Morphing Jar. I didn't post an extra deck because its obvious what the basic will be. Tell me what you think?

Pack more heat!

I think this deck is packing quite a punch with the burn strategies. I think you can add more to the burn, though, if you add Goka, the Pyre of Malice and Everliving Underworld Cannon to your deck.

Goka is another fire-zombie who can really add some support to your Burning Skulls. Once the Burning Skulls are special summoned, there's not much to do with them besides tribute fodder, so if you sacrifice them for Goka, it'll help them get in the grave for Supersonic Skull Flame to activate his burning effects, or recycle them faster using regular Skull Flame's effect. Not to mention Goka is already spouting out tokens for tribute fodder anyways.

If the burn damage from the skulls aren't fast enough or your comboes get cut short, that's when Everliving Underworld Cannon comes in. Special summon a zombie, opponent takes 800 dmg. It's only once per turn, but hey, your Burning Skulls are coming every turn too, so in total they take 1800 dmg each turn. Then add that with your other burn cards.... ooo, the pain!

The only other thing I can suggest is that you might need a stall strategy so you can protect your cards while they burn away. Maybe a Gravity Bind? That's all I can think of, hope it helps! Swaggs 03:21, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
