If my opponent activates the effect of Core Overclock to get a further 1,000 attack point boost, and I use Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy it when he declares an attack, does he still get the boost or is it cancelled because it's a continuous spell? Like all continuous and field spells, the effect disappears as soon as the card is removed from the field. So your opponent's monster would not have any ATK boost. Lappyzard (talk • contribs) 23:35, November 15, 2010 (UTC)
the first effect (gain 500 all koa kimeirus) would dissapear when core overclock is destroyed, but the second effect has the "until the end phase" part , so i think is a lingering effect, and once payed the cost (discard an iron core) the effect should apply even though the card is destroyed. 190.191.177.10 (talk) 00:56, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- It could really go either way -- "Miracle Fertilizer" says that it can stay, "Weapon Change" says that it can go. Right now, I'd go with Lappyzard's answer, and say that it disappears. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 23:38, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
