Hello everyone! I need your help about something! I used to play yu gi oh 4 years ago, but i was bored so i stopped. Now I am interested in starting playing again but I found out that things have changed a lot since then! Although I was informed every now and then about Yu Gi Oh from here, now that I started to spend more time on it, i found out many deck types and complicated strategies! So my question is if a beatdown deck would stand a chance against those new decks. I used to use a beatdown deck and I just love how fast and easy it works. Also, can anyone propose me a low-cost deck I can build and inform me if you guys buy separate the cards you need or you buy booster packs and structure decks and hope that you'll find the cards you need? Thanks you!!!Lado27 (talkcontribs) 07:35, August 14, 2012 (UTC)

Usually if I were to build a low-cost deck that can beat newer fast paced decks, I wouldn't pick straight out beatdown. It just doesn't work that way anymore, the game has now evolved to a point where Spell and Monster Effects are really crucial, and high ATK just doesn't cut it. As for a low-cost deck, most Structure Decks now offer good cards, that can be made into great semi-competitive decks, usually out of 3 of that Structure Deck. A perfect example is Structure Deck: Gates of the Underworld. Buying 3 of that deck gives you the ability to make a really good deck for just $30. To make it better, some extra cards are needed, but those bring the cost up to maybe just under $60 (Most good old cards have been reprinted in the past 2 years, such as Solemn Judgment, Dark Armed Dragon, and Judgment Dragon)? ---Dark Ace SP (Talk) 13:03, August 14, 2012 (UTC)

I see... So u mean a Darkworld deck would be fine! From what I ve read it works well and really fast! So, the extra cards? I have to buy them separately?Lado27 (talkcontribs) 22:16, August 14, 2012 (UTC)
