If I attack my opponent directly because he/she has no monsters on the field, can they activate defense draw? More so, does it drop the damage to 0 even if I attacked directly? I guess my real question would be what exactly constitutes damage calculation and battle damage?
Also, if I attack a monster, and my opponent activates defense draw, do they receive 0 battle damage for the entire turn or just from that one monster battle?
Thanks in advance. ````
Battle damage refers to any damage taken when a monster attacks, be it when a monster attacks a monster with lower ATK, when a monster attacks a monster with higher DEF, or when a monster attacks directly. In short, yes, Defense Draw can be activated for a direct attack.
Defense Draw's effect only works for one battle. All other damage for the turn happens normally.
One more thing: unlike many people, you did at least try to sign your post. Next time however, make sure you press shift so you get the tilde (~) instead of the `. Lappyzard (talk • contribs) 19:12, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
