Koa'ki Meirus are an amazing anti-meta archetype, with powerful monsters that can negate effects etc. Dimensional Fissure is one of my favourite anti-meta cards. So why not make a Deck around them both?

Let's start with the monsters. I tried to match up types as best I could here. As such, I've got 3 Urknights and Crusaders. Urknight is probably the best Koa'ki Meiru, while Crusader will be able to use its effect even while Dimensional Fissure is on the field to retrieve Iron Core. I also added a single Chiron the Mage as Spell/Trap removal and as a Beast-Warrior.

My next set of monsters was Guardian and Sandman, able to negate monsters and traps respectively. I also added in a Grand Mole as a problem solver, and as a Rock monster. These are my favourite Koa'ki Meirus, since I love offensive Rock monsters.

My final Type involved me putting Bergzak into the Deck. Trust me, a Level for 2000 ATK double attacker is nothing to laugh at. D.D. Survivor was put in as an incredibly useful card while Dimensional Fissure is out, though I may at some point replace 1 of him with Necroface. That's it for the monsters.

Well, except for one. In my opinion the best Koa'ki Meiru in a Koa'ki Meiru deck, and this deck's win condition: it's Rooklord! His alternative maintenance cost is what made him beat Maximus and Valafar, and his effect, though it won't work while there are no monsters in my Graveyard, should still be able to be used consistently. This is why I used Warriors in the Deck.

Anyway, let's move onto Spells. 3 Iron Cores are obvious, as are 3 Dimensional Fissures. Core Compression acts as draw power, as does Pot of Duality. Gold Sarcophagus combos with 1 of the Traps in particular, and searches out my key cards.

Onto Traps. Return from the Different Dimension is king here, serving as an alternate win condition. I've also got a single Release from Stone to go with the Rocks. The rest is standard stuff. Dark Bribe is negation without paying Life Points (which I'll need for Return), as is Trap Stun. Finally, Automatic Laser acts as Bottomless Trap Hole in this Deck, only its range is even wider.

Kepp me your opinion, fixes, etc. for this deck. Battlemaniac (talkcontribs) 19:16, September 3, 2010 (UTC)
