When can we use the effect of divine wrath????at the time we return the GB or at the time we special summon a GB at the field to negate the effect like bestiari destroy magic card??? — This unsigned comment was made by Daredevil^^ (talkcontribs) 15:03, November 3, 2009

More-or-less, "Divine Wrath" can negate any effect which activates and starts a Chain Link.
The "tag-in/tag-out" effect of "Gladiator Beast" monsters activates and starts a Chain Link, so "Divine Wrath" can negate this effect. "Divine Wrath" does not destroy any monsters, since "Divine Wrath" cannot destroy cards in the Deck. "Divine Wrath" will not destroy the monster to be Special Summoned, since there is no reason for it to do so.
The Spell/Trap-destroying effect of "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" activates and starts a Chain Link, so "Divine Wrath" can negate it. "Gladiator Beast Bestiari" will be destroyed.

LOL

ok, first, a gb that tag in tag out can be negated when its summoned becuz its effect is activated when its sumoned so it wuld work. since the gb monster effect would have its efffect activated when its spec summoned, such as

  • gyzarus
  • other tag in tag out gb's
  • octavius and so forth — This unsigned comment was made by Duelist101 (talkcontribs) 05:01, November 4, 2009

Darius

so divine wrath also can negate the effect of darius???

When all else fails it's simpler to use the the all in one problem solver Solemn JudgmentDaywalkerAA 15:20, November 4, 2009 (UTC)

Not anymore

If solemn was still at 3 I would agree with you but now that its stuck at 1 you cant rely on it like that. Black Horn of Heaven is a decent placeholder but I still sidedeck three divine wraiths just in case. Although GBs are much easier to stop with G.B. Hunter and Mirror of Oaths. Run 3 of each in a deck and it will fairly reliable give that GB deck a run for its money. Steelfallenangel 06:29, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Are you forgeting about another all-in-one problem solver Skill Drain that only requires a single deposit of a 1000 life points to solve all your problems DaywalkerAA 11:47, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

Thats True But

It limits your deck options. IF you run skill drain odds are you have a skill drain deck. Its not really one of those cards you can just throw into any deck Steelfallenangel 15:53, November 6, 2009 (UTC)

Skill Drain is not one of the most splashable cards 190.80.45.166 16:09, November 6, 2009 (UTC)
"Divine Wrath" can negate the effect of "Gladiator Beast Darius".
"Solemn Judgment" cannot negate the "tag-in/tag-out" effects of "Gladiator Beast" monsters, since "Solemn Judgment" cannot negate monster effects and it cannot negate Special Summons caused by card effects.
"Skill Drain" will not negate the "tag-in/tag-out" effects of "Gladiator Beast" monsters, since the "Gladiator Beast" monster will not be face-up on the field when its effect resolves. However, "Skill Drain" will negate the other effects of "Gladiator Beast" monsters, given the usual limitations on "Skill Drain".
