Forum:Divine wrath vs exiled force

At school, I saw my friend (A) using his incomplete Flamvell assualt deck, and my other friend (B). So, "A" summons Flamvell Magician, and "B" uses Exiled Force to destroy it, and "A" uses Divine Wrath to negate the effect. But, I was wondering that DW wont work since EF is already in the graveyard. I told "A" that it might wont work, but he says it just negates it. Am I wrong about this?CardMaster. Wait... So, "A" summons Flamvell Magician, and "B" uses Exiled Force's Ignition effect to destroy it, during "A"'s turn?
Ignition effects can only be used during the controller's own main phase. So, I'm changing the scenario to this:
"A" summons Flamvell Magician and Ends his turn. During "B"'s Main Phase, "B" uses Exiled Force's Ignition effect, Tributing it as Cost, and selecting Flamvell Magician as the Target.
"A" can then chain Diving Wrath to negate Exiled Force's effect.
Divine Wrath does not need to be able to destroy the card, to negate the effect. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 02:25, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
