Nope. It all depends on your luck. Know that packs contain either (for TCG) 8 Commons and 1 Normal Rare, or 7 Commons, 1 Normal Rare, 1 Super Rare or higher, or 8 Commons and 1 Super Rare or higher. When Light of Destruction came out, I bought the equivalent of 3 - 4 boxes worth of boosters, and never pulled a single rare copy of Dark Valkyria - the one card out of the set I REALLY wanted. Same with the special edition packs of the same set, I bought around 20 - 25 and only pulled 5 copies of Kuraz the Light Monarch. I started throwing away copies of Soul Rope because I had so many.

And when Ancient Prophecy came out, I bought 3 packs, and pulled two copies of the same stupid secret rare card.

This game hates me. I seem to pull duplicates of ultimate rares and secret rares. There's only so many ultimate rare copies of Super-Ancient Dinobeast I need XP

lol i know what you mean i mean me im the kind of girl that loves plants and im trying to get a plant deck but so far i bought 24 booster pack of crossroad of chaos and i didnt got a good plant monster at all and i have so many copies of stupid mophtronic and wall of ivy but no strong plants i got all my spell and trap for my plant but no dam monster that is strog it pisses me off since my only good plant monster is black rose dragon >.< GOD WHY LUCK WHY!!!!! If you're not feeling so lucky, you might want to go looking around for people who have excess of the plant cards that may interest you. That's the best alternative I can offer. My countless other failed attempts at packs resulted in me taking a preference to purchasing singles from others instead.

In some areas 24 packs could mean even less, since most retailers know very well were to look for the super, ultra, ultimate and secret rares and then they procced to sell the remants, some even refill boxes to gave a fake sense of security to potential customers since a full box means a pristine box, doesn't it?. It depends...

For a box, your pretty much gauranteed the entire set of commons, you'll get most rares, but your almost never gonna get every holo in the set, plus you could get lucky enough to pull good holos or unlucky enough to pull utter crap. I keep getting rubbish. My DCRs all produced useless stuff I can't use, like Butterfly Daggers. No D.D. Warrior Ladys or stuff like that. >.>
