Are Trigger-Like effects of Trap Cards still considered to be spell speed 2? If Don Zaloog and Begone, Knave! form a chain, what is the order of the chain? Chaosgodkarl (talk • contribs) 18:57, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
Yes, the effects of any kind of Traps other than Counter Traps are always Spell Speed 2. Begone, Knave! would bounce Don Zaloog first before the effect of Don Zaloog forces the opponent to discard.-- HHTurtle (Talk) 19:01, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
- In the TCG is as HHTurtle said. Spell Speed 2 effects must come after Spell Speed 1 effects, so Don Zaloog's effect is Chain Link 1, and Begone, Knave! is Chain Link 2.
- In the OCG they follow the rule of Simultaneous Effects. So, Begone, Knave! will be chain link 1 as mandatory, and Don Zaloog will be chain link 2 as optional.
