I am wonder can you draw 5 new card if play all 5 cards in your hand? I was under the impression that you can only draw 1 card per turn with out a spell or Trap card can anyone clarify this for me please? — This unsigned comment was made by 97.116.55.79 (talkcontribs)

The staring hand is to draw 5, ONLY at the very start of the duel. Then during the start of each of your turn, you draw 1. That is all.
You don't draw extra normally, even if you played your 5. Falzar FZ 01:42, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

You start out with 5 cards. Draw Phase, draw one more cards (total, 6 cards). You play all five cards on your field. You end your turn. Then, after your opponents turn, you draw 1 card during your next Draw Phase, so you should have one card in your hand, unless a card effect was used so that you have more than just 1 card.--Yugioh DED 01:45, June 16, 2010 (UTC)

  • Oh, and by the way, you can have unlimited cards in your hand, BUT you have to discard cards in your hand to the Graveyard until you have 6, during your End Phase. If you have 6 or less cards in your hand during your End Phase, you're safe, and do not have to discard any cards to the Grave.--Yugioh DED 01:49, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
