What spell speed are the heralds of light? What happens when I have two tethys and I draw a fairy card then draw two cards and only one of them is a fairy card? 67.180.51.56 07:43, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ruling: If you control multiple copies of “Tethys, Goddess of Light”, you can chain their effects when you draw a Fairy-Type monster(s). If you control 2 copies of “Tethys, Goddess of Light”, you would draw 2 cards in that case. --hanmac
- 1) "Herald of Purple Light" and friends have Quick Effects. They are Spell Speed 2, like all other Quick Effects. (You cannot chain "Herald of Purple Light" to a Spell Speed 3 Counter Trap, if that is what you are asking.)
- 2) It is the same thing as "Heart of the Underdog". See the first ruling at Card Rulings:Heart of the Underdog.
- The effects of the two "Tethys, Goddess of Light" form a Chain. If you draw a Fairy at Chain Link 2 and a non-Fairy at Chain Link 1, then you cannot draw again because you miss the timing. If you draw a non-Fairy as Chain Link 2 and a Fairy as Chain Link 1, then you can draw again.
