Forum:Favored Characters in Packs

  • Ok, this isn't a new thing. For as long as the show has lasted, the packs seem to reliece any and every card used by the main character, who (coincidentally) uses so many new cards per duel it seems they never use the same deck twice. Wile this happens, other characters seem to only have a few sellect cards which even then, not all are relieced. There is a very overlooked fact to prove that the main character is much more favor than anyone elce, even compared to their best firend and rival character. In any pack which is relieced, any new card they used would be instantly put into the list of the next pack ((Example, Absolute Powerforce with Unicler, Bicler, Tricler, Drill Synchron, and Drill Warrior wile Aki's Splendid Rose and Jack's Archfiend Chaos King both have to wait another 3 months before reliece))

It seems that in every series, the main character has a complicated yet buildable stratigy which many duelists can even make a deck based on that character, yet the rival seems to have 2 different decks in one which dosn't ever work except in the show.(Kaiba: Blue Eyes/XYZ Dragon Cannon, Chazz: Ojama/VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon, Jack: Dragon/Fiend). Espcially with Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds, they even seem to favor the bad guys more than the main characters with OP archtypes like Reptilianne and Spider with the Earthbound Immortals. The only other characters which are given decent support are Crow and Leo but this is simply because they both use archtypes.

Akiza Izinski's deck is a challange to make because it has to focus on Plant/Burn/Black Rose Dragon, wile her spell/trap line up seem to change every duel (sadly many would probably never be relieced), and her main tuner (not the extreamly useful Twilight Rose Knight) but seems to be the Black Rose Witch which ironically dosn't seem to even support Plants or her dragon.

Luna's deck is very challanging because she has only dueled 3 times ever in the entire show. She seems to use a deffensive life gain/burn but only 2 deffenceive cards have been relieced (not inclusing monsters) and one life gain.

Jack Atlas's deck is very complicated. It is definatly a beat down but is it uses a few powerful Dragons (Vice Dragon and Strong Wind Dragon), several dark fiends (mostly Archfiends), and a few plain anti-deffence like Twin-Sword Marauder. --RyuPhalian 17:30, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
