My question is, when I have Field Barrier and Undead World on my field, and my opponent summons Infernal Flame Emperor and removes 2 monsters, will my Undead World be destroyed? FatalExe 14:28, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

  • If Field Barrier and Undead World are on the field, Undead World cannot be targeted by cards that destroys it. So it cannot be selected as a target by Infernal Flame Emperor's effect. According to this Infernal Flame Emperor cannot remove one additional monster for Undead World. He can only remove one fire-type monster to destroy Field Barrier, even if there is also Undead World on the field. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 15:03, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
  • Since Infernal Flame Emperor removes 2 monsters when he is successfully summoned, can he target Field Barrier, and then only Undead World? basically Undead World with Field Barrier can't be destroyed by cards such as Heavy Storm, but can it be destroyed with cards that manually target by targeting field barrier, then only Undead World? such as Infernal Flame Emperor or R - Righteous Justice. Wait. Infernal Flame Emperor does not target the S/T cards, so my first post is wrong. Now the sure thing is that Undead World will not be destroyed by Infernal Flame Emperor's or R - Righteous Justice's effect. What I don't know is if the Emperor can remove up to 2 monsters or up to 1 since it is known that Undead World cannot be destroyed. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 15:53, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
You can remove from play two FIRE monsters. When resolving the effect of "Infernal Flame Emperor", you can choose to destroy "Undead World", but "Undead World" still will not be destoryed because of "Field Barrier". --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 22:00, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
