Can you activate a field card if one is already active on your side of the field? from Yigiter007 02:38, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, you can. However, you only have one Field Spell Card Zone, so the old one is destroyed by game mechanics when you play your new Field Card (more-or-less, as a cost). --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 02:47, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
This is the official/konami ruling right? So i can use a field spell that has a once per turn effect, then replace it and then use the effect again in the same turn? examples (Magical Citadel of Endymion) (Brain Research Lab), (Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins) from Yigiter007 02:52, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
You can do so.Example:you control 4 CB in your Spell/Trap Zone and 1 ACRR.You activate ACRR's effect to draw a card. Then, you activate another ACRR(destroying the previous one). You can now draw another card.115.135.71.93 06:45, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
I agree to the combo. I just want of the higher up people of yugioh wikia to example the ruling to me (no offense to anyone who posts and i gladly appreciate your posts and encourage it). Because i pass along the ruling to other people who play and this is a ruling that contradicts what i have known and what other people have known so i need to get it right so people don't get screwed at tournaments. from Yigiter007 06:58, February 9, 2010 (UTC)
- There's an OCG ruling which says the same thing that I said. For the TCG, see Card Rulings:Geartown:
- If you control "Geartown" and you activate a new Field Spell Card, you cannot activate "Geartown's" effect when it is destroyed because it misses the timing. However, if you Set a new Field Spell Card, you can activate "Geartown's" effect when it is destroyed.
