When a monster is attacked it is flipped face up, does this mean you can now activate things in repose to its attribute etc for example: wall of thorns when face down mystic tomato is being attacked. Thanks Mark Morris

--If you can understand the Breakdown of the Battle Phase,if I'm not mistaken,you cannot activate Wall of Thorns in that part because you already accepted the attack.Flipping of cards is at Substep 3 of the Damage Step.

- You can activate effects/cards in respong to the monter's flipping by an attack. This happens during the Sub-Step 2, not 3 of the Damage Step. But remember that you can only activate appropriate cards that can be activated during the Damage Step. Wall of Thorns must be activated during the attack declaration to a face-up Plant monster. If the monster is face-down then Wall of Thorns cannot be activated and when the monster is flipped by the attack, it is to late to activate it. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 17:51, February 10, 2010 (UTC)
