I'm asking this mostly to clarify, as I'm about 90% certain as to how it should work.
Player A has General Raiho of the Ice Barrier in play.
During his own turn, Player B Normal Summons The Wicked Dreadroot from his hand by Tributing 3 monsters. The Wicked Dreadroot's effect activates and resolves, activating Raiho's effect; Player B discards a card from his hand.
If Raiho is still on the field until Player A's next turn, and Player A summons a new monster, would this cause The Wicked Dreadroot to activate his effect again, causing another discard? Or does the previously-successful activation mean that the new monster's ATK/DEF are halved without activating Raiho? Ninja13 (talk • contribs) 10:07, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
- "When an effect resolves that was activated by your opponent's Effect Monster on the field"
- Continuous Monster Effects don't activate. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 10:00, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
Oh ok, so Raiho doesn't work on Dreadroot at all then. The Continuous Monster Effects page doesn't mention that they don't activate, so I was confused. Does it have something to do with not starting a Chain? Anyways, thank you!Ninja13 (talk • contribs) 10:07, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
