If I controll a Face-down non-puppet and a face-up Gimmick puppet monster, can I special summon Gimmick puppet - Magne Doll with his own effect?

- I think the Gimmick Puppet monster has to be face-up just so your opponent can verify that you're not cheating and that you have all gimmick puppet monsters on your field, like Spellbook of Fate requires a face-up spellcaster so your opponent knows you can use it. He's asking if Gimmick Puppet Magnet Doll can be Special Summoned if he controls other face-down monsters that aren't necessarily Gimmick Puppet ones. I presume that Magnet Doll needs you to control only face-up Gimmick Puppets and stops itself if you even hold one face-down monster. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 05:21, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I assume the monster must be face-up since it says "if the only monsters you control are gimmick puppet monsters", and your opponent can't verify if the face-down monster is a gimmick puppet or not. Ninety-eight (talk • contribs) 17:31, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
