If a Gladiator Beast (i.e. Gladiator Beast Equiste) attacks a monster (i.e. Maiden with Eyes of Blue) and the attack is negated, does it still count towards the Gladiator Beast's final ability to go back into the deck to special summon another, or is the attack considered not to have happened?
