if i activate gift of the mystical elf and my opponent chain something card that effect destroy the entire monster , would i gain the life point? (ex : there is four monster on the field. would i gain 1200 life points or 0?) wahyu (talk • contribs) 02:34, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
Since your opponent chains an effect that destroys all of your monsters, it will be Chain Link 2 and your Gift of the Mystical Elf will be Chain Link 1. You resolve the chain in reverse and your monsters will be destroyed before you will be able to gain LP. In the end, you gain 0 LP.-- HHTurtle Talk 02:50, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
