I have a Spell Counter/Endymion deck, however I want to add an Earthbound Immortal for some power, however I don't know which one to use? Currently I have Earthbound Immortal Ccapac Apu and Revival of the Immortals in the deck, and I was wondering if a different one would be better suited for this deck type? --Azure Knight-Zeo 01:04, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

This might be what you're looking for. Bring out the Lizard while the Citadel is out, while dumping Endymions in the Grave. Once the EI is destroyed, he'll wipe out all cards on the field. Except the Citadel. Then, all of the Spell Counters that were on the field at the time, will be transfered to your City, which you can save by sparing a counter. Then, use the gathered Counters to ressurect Endymions, and start direct attacking.--Akiza Izayoi 02:10, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

You know, with the new Alchemist of Black Spells, you should revamp that deck. I'd take out the Mandragolas for some Alchemists. You might also want to cut down on the Apprentice Magicians. Runer5h 03:03, January 30, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Hmm... I'm actually thinking about putting Arcane Barrier back in.... I won't really use the drawpower effect, but it would be handy to have 3-4 counters on it when it's destroyed, so those counters can fuel Citadel. I will put those Alchemists in, but i'm just wondering you're opinion on Arcane, since I think it would speed up the Counter gathering process.--Akiza Izayoi 03:33, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I don't actually know. Meanwhile, with the 3 new copies of Alchemist you can drop the Power Stones - I just realized this. The first one is quicker and it's a monster. I'd add some Crystal Seers and Old Vindictive Magicians instead for searching with Apprentice, and massive deck thinning thanks to Seer. Runer5h 04:13, January 30, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

I was thinking only 2 Alchemist, while keeping Power Stone at 2. Three free Counters is really handy, especially when all three go straight to the Citadel when it's destroyed. Plus, the Alchemist can put Counters on the Stone, since there is no limit to how many it can carry. As for Apprentices/Crystal Seers, i'm not sure. I would like to keep the Apprentices for free Counters, but maybe i could swap out Night's End for the Seers, since the deck really has no need for Synchros?--Akiza Izayoi 04:19, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Add "Field Barrier" to further protect Citadel. Although Citadel is quite tough in its own but it can be destroyed simply by activating a new field spell card. "Field Barrier" answers that problem. --SilentHero26 10:34, January 30, 2010 (UTC)

Eh, most decks do without Field Spells. And if the field spell is removed from play, bounced, spun, or destroyed before Field Barrier resolves, you've locked yourself. Runer5h 17:38, January 30, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

Thank you, I'll take this advice into consideration. --Azure Knight-Zeo 21:25, February 4, 2010 (UTC)
