As the title clearly points out, my Insect Deck is a failure. I tried making a strategic Insect Deck, but I think I wounded up making a Power Insect deck (I think). When I looked up strategic Insect decks online, the decks posted had barely any note worthy Insects in them. Anywho, I just want a deck that can, if not defeat, withstand those more powerful types of decks; like BW, LightSworns, Glads, Meta, etc, and maintain the Insect Theme as much as possible. Can anyone help me? I know some of you are going to say Gigaplant, but I don't seem to see Gigaplant necessary. I'm still wating on the new insect support spells to come out (the ones in Stardust Overdrive). And for the spiders, I think I'm going to make a seperate Insect deck for them.

I also run an insect deck. Try running a koa'kai meiru beetle to take care of the lightsworns and bwings.

An Insect Deck built to dominate.

I have an extremley devistating Insect Deck and see that you are in need, here is my fix for this Deck, I hope you agree with the additions and subtractions.

(Monsters)

-Doom Dozer x3-

-Ultimate Insect LV3 x1- (No need to have an extra copy that will clog up your deck)

-Ultimate Insect LV5 x1- (Same as above)

-Ultimate Insect LV7 x1-

-Anteatereatingant x2-

-Pinch Hopper x2-

-Howling Insect x2-

-Insect Knight x2- (Pinacle easy summon insect best for equiping)

-Saber Beetle- (Very easy to summon, very nice to use attack boosters with)

-Arsenal Bug- (No reason not to put this in your deck)

-Chainsaw Insect- (Jackpot hacker monster kills opponent cold blooded with devistating damage)

-Flying Kamakiri #1 x2- (Special summon Ultimate Insect LV3 to use his effect during your Standby Phase or summon the other Kiri if your opponent has another monster on the field)

-Man-Eater Bug- (Real nice to flip summon before tributing it to blast an opponents monster off the field)

-Jirai Gumo- (Nice stalling to tribute summon another monster)

-Millennium Scorpion- (ATK increases by 500 every time he destroys a monster, he has 2500)

-Swarm Of Locusts- (Keep fliping to destroy your opponents spell and traps)

-Swarm Of Scarabs- (Keep fliping to destroy your opponents monsters)

(Spells)

-Insect Imitaion x2- (Once you read the card you'll know why I put it in here)

-Mage Power- (ATK boost for all)

-Snatch Steal- (Same reason its used everywere else)

-United We Stand- (Hacking ATK boost for all)

-Mystical Space Typhoon x1-

-Heavy Storm x1-

-Lightning Vortex x1-

-Verdant Sanctuary x1-

-Confiscation- (Check their hand and toss out any card from it that you want)

-Axe Of Despair- (1000 ATK boost)

-Gaia Power- (Field spell for almost every insect in your deck)

-Gravekeepers Servant- (If they attack they loss 1 card from the top of their deck for each of their monsters that attack)

(Traps)

-Bottomless Trap Hole x2- (Blow out their strongest monster)

-Ceasefire- (Good for checking their Face-Downs and do damage at the same time)

-DNA Surgery- (Turn all monsters into insects)

-Dust Tornado- (Easy to guess why its in here)

-Magic Cylinder- (Again easy to guess)

-Mind Haxorz- (Check ALL of their cards)

-Robbin' Goblin- (Criple their hand, very very good to use with Saber Beetle)

-Robbin' Zombie- (Take out their deck, very very good to use with Saber Beetle)

-Dimensional Prison- (Better than Sakuretsu Armor, removes instead of destroys)

-Defense Draw- (A favorite of mine, read it and find out why)

Okay, I know there are 48 cards in here, its so you can customize with this mix and see what works best for you, I'll check back in soon and see what your disision is.

I put this deck together and took out some of the milling cards (Don't want to help my opponent get the cards they want - most effects target or apply in the graveyard). I tried out this deck and the flow of this deck is not as fast as the desribed Insect deck above. This is good beat-stick Insect Deck, but not enough swarming. I understand completly, I did not write my exact deck down (No point in copying, got to stay original). I would put in more special summoning spell and trap cards, but most are banned now so it may be hard. Im not familer with most new Insect type Tunners so putting in a Synchro summoning power in this deck is most recomended, Kick Jirai and Man-Eater for good Insect Tunners that I don't know the names of. Insect Decks are highly based on Special Summoning. Experament with this deck with other cards, use this deck as a base structure for yourself, swap out cards continuisly to see what cards are the strongestfor the deck.
