I'm currently running a Dragon deck with an emphasis on quickly cycling monsters into the graveyard to power up Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon and Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, Special Summoning them back out as needed with cards like Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (I guess that makes it a Swarm-Beatdown deck?). I think my deck's running a little large though.
Don't get me wrong, I've had many successes with this deck and don't think it's bad at all (by the time Blue-Eyes Shining is up I'm practically guaranteed success). I'm aware my selection is... a bit diverse, but it allows for a very malleable and versatile playstyle in practice (I always have something I can do with a card). I'm just wondering if there are any cards that I should consider removing to slim it down a bit? Before you say "add Future Fusion", I'm trying to keep this deck legal under the latest Forbidden & Limited List as well. Archwizard Drake (talk • contribs) 03:04, September 13, 2012 (UTC)
- I would suggest focusing more on either Red-Eyes or Blue-Eyes. And keep relatively the same lineup for whichever you choose and slim down the other. While it will get rid of some versatility and diversity, it will slim down the deck and you'll be able to hit those key cards faster. If this deck was more synchro-centric than Red/Blue-Eyes I would suggest Red Nova Dragon, since he can easily become a GIANT beatstick. Just my two-cents.
