I'm just wondering, can macro monarch decks really compete with current meta stuff? Post your thoughts or opinions.
Macro Monarch player here. The dependance on a single S/T to wreak all their havoc makes Macro Monarch strong, yet weak. A badly-timed and badly-targetted S/T destroyer would break their strategy until they set it up again. Seeing that stuff entering the meta has a lot of ways to destroy S/Ts with monster effects, be prepared to defend your engine with all your life against them. They fare well against pure Blackwing builds, but Lightsworns and Gladiator Beasts often have ways to take down their strategy. --Gadjiltron (talk • contribs) 07:52, September 2, 2010 (UTC)
That's exactly what I was thinking. It relies SO heavily on macro cosmos and Dimensional Fissures that it seems like it might be impossible to get around some of the current metas.
