I use Mark of the Rose to gain control one of my opponent's monster during my turn. Then I use Mystical Space Typhoon or Heavy Storm to destroy Mark of the Rose.
Question: Will the monster return to its owner during the end phase or will it stay on my

Once Mark of the Rose is destroyed, it is no longer equipped to the monster so control of the monster reverts back to the owner.--HHTurtle 13:30, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
ohhh...I thought you keep the monster because Mark of the Rose is no longer on the field and the effect "During your End Phase, give control of the equipped monster to your opponent" is no longer applied...but i guess i was wrong. -Thanks- Gomer123 (talk • contribs) 12:54, July 7, 2010 (UTC)
marc of rose is an equip spell. Once it is destroyed the equiped monster looses all its effects, so also that you gain control of it during your turn. -dest- 15:01, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

- Both are right! If Mark of the Rose is removed from the field, the equipped monster returns to its owner's side of the field. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 15:43, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
