Forum:My ColdCat/Gladiator Deck - v.8
Here it is...[edit]
I've been testing this deck over and over (and over and over and over and over) again, and I've created this deck. Its about killing your enemy's back row, or at least locking it down, for a turn, and creating card advantage with Rescue Cat and my fellow Glads. Before judging my card choices, please read my reasoning, posted below the list.

Extra Deck:
- Gladiator Beast Heraklinos x 3
- Gladiator Beast Gyzarus x 3
- Stardust Dragon x 2
- Black Rose Dragon x 1
- Red Dragon Archfiend x 1
- Thought Ruler Archfiend x 1
- Goyo Guardian x 1
- Colossal Fighter x 1
Side Deck:
- Neo-Spacian Dark Panther - Mirror Matches; Get out two with Rescue Cat
- Dimensional Fissure x 3 - Mirror Matches; Rescue Cat must go to grave
- Twister x 2 - Tons lockdown/STUN decks at locals
- Dust Tornado x 2 - Same as above
- Light-Imprisoning Mirror x 3 - A few Sworns at locals
- Ceasefire x 1 - Many annoying flip-flop decks at locals
- Mask of Restrict x 2 - Many Monarch decks at locals
Here is my explaination for my choice of unusual cards, and the lack of commonly used cards:
- I chose Respite because I can pull it out of my deck with Samnite, and rid my hand of dead cards, like Secutor, Murmillo, and the like.
- I still use Shrink because of the ever-present threat of Bottomless Trap Hole, and it can still get the job done.
- I play two Equeste in case I draw it, one dies (or its RFG'd), or if only one can't get the job done.
- I use two Solemns because I recently had a format change (OCG to TCG), and those cards are worth a fortune...
- Sangan isn't here because he's too slow for this new deck.
- Morphing Jar is too slow, too.
- Prisma is dead; I've tried to slip it in the deck, and I failed.
