Does the Special Summoning effect of Psychic Wizard of Silence and Taciturn Psychic Priest are mandatory or they miss if they are sent to grave via Tribute for cost or for summon? how does Solemn Warning respond to their summoning effect, after they sent to grave or after their monster to be summoned hits the field?

thanks a lotJune23ly (talkcontribs) 14:14, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

I'm quite sure this has been said many times...
If it says "you can", then it's optional. If it doesn't, then it's mandatory... If it's optional, it will miss the timing.
The current translation has Wizard as mandatory, and Priest as optional.
Solemn Warning can only be used against the effect which Special Summons. It will miss the timing if you try and Negate the Summon from a resolving effect. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 23:13, January 19, 2011 (UTC)

so it means Taciturn Psychic Priest's second effect will miss if used as a synchro material, tribute for cost or summon? and Solemn Warning can be activated when i use the 2nd effect of Taciturn, so if the opponent passes when the effect resolves, when it is sent to grave it will Summon 1 of its RFP'ed monsters? Someone changed the translation... now both are Mandatory Triggers... can't you wait for the card to actually be released, so that accurate translations can be made?
IF it were to be an Optional Trigger, it will miss the timing for both Tribute Summons and Synchro Summons. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 11:23, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

i can wait for the real translations, but now im speculating what other cards can be added if ill use those new monsters for deck testing, and also for their good combinations, thanks a lotJune23ly (talkcontribs) 12:17, January 20, 2011 (UTC)
