Forum:Opti-Camouflage Armor and The Lady in Wight

On the Wight page, it says:

"Opti-Camouflage Armor - lets "King of the Skull Servants" attack directly, even if "The Lady in Wight" is in play. This is because "Opti-Camouflage Armor" does not affect the monster, but affects the rule that monsters cannot attack directly if the opponent controls a monster."

However, quick googling does not confirm this as true(the only result I immediately found is someone saying it does not work this way), and the rulings pages for The Lady in Wight and Opti-Camouflage Armor do not tell me if this specific case is valid. However, when considering the vagueness or specific wordings when it comes to rules in this game(ones that wouldn't be obvious being things like Black Horn of Heaven's restrictions or Destroy v.s. Negate), I am uncertain of what is actually the case. I feel that since it is an Equip spell card (which must target a monster and specifically makes that monster the one that can direct attack) it has to be affecting it in some way, but I am not certain about that either. First off, Black Horn of Heaven isn't vague, and Negate v Destroy is rather simple. On to business. Opti will have no effect while Lady in Wight is face up, since as you said Equip Spells are affecting the monster itself. DexxIsBack (talkcontribs) 05:55, June 13, 2013 (UTC)

If "The Lady in Wight" is face-up, you can make the "King" attack directly with "Baby Tiragon" instead. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 02:45, June 14, 2013 (UTC)
