According to Powersink Stone's ruling, you place a counter on it when the monster's effect finishes resolving. So, does this mean that, if a monster effect is negated or resolves without effect (such as using Divine Wrath to negate a monster effect), it won't gain a counter for that activation? Divine Wrath doesn't negate monster's effect, it negate monster effect's activation. Powersink Stone will not gain counter if activation of monster's effect is negated, but it will gain counter if monster's effect is negated by Skill Drain.-- (talkcontribs) 23:53, May 10, 2011 (UTC)
So, basically, it won't gain counters if the activation is negated, but it will gain counters if the effect itself is negated or resolved without effect. Okay. SynjoDeonecros (talkcontribs) 00:03, May 11, 2011 (UTC)
