I activate Gemini Spark tributing my lvl 4 gemini to destroy a face-down trap/spell card and then my opponent activates the face down trap/spell card, waboku. Since waboku leaves the field before gemini spark has a chance to destroy it, will I still draw a card?
I know some card such as spell power grasp do not allow the 2nd effect to work if the 1st effect does not resolve correctly, is gemini spark one of those? — This unsigned comment was made by 98.14.82.75 (talk • contribs) 15:49, October 4, 2009
- Cards are sent to the Graveyard after the entire Chain resolves; they are not sent to the Graveyard after resolving their specific Chain Links. In your example, "Waboku" is still face-up on the field, so "Gemini Spark" will still destroy it.
- Please be more specific. If the activation was negated (such as by "Magic Jammer"), then you can activate a second copy. If only the effect was negated (such as by "Imperial Order"), then you cannot activate a second copy. Either way, "Gemini Spark" does not have this restriction.
- Also, remember to sign your posts with four tildes ~~~~, since that automatically creates a signature for you.
