Spell reclamations effect is just plain overpowered (trap card (activate when a spell is sent to the graveyard return it to your hand every time it is sent to the graveyard)

it is not continuous so once its happened theres no stoping it they will just keep using burn cards sutch as ookazi chain strike and final flame until you are dead so give me your view. --Marshall565 12:06, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

  • The card doesnt come back every time it goes to the grave. It is returned only one time.--Teba64 12:37, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

that ruling only applies in the ocg in the tcg it comes back as many times as you want it to--Marshall565 17:35, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

No Spell Reclamation only returns the card to the hand once.Skavinger 17:40, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

It says Spell Reclamation whenever it is sent to the grave yard so that could basically mean mean it comes back to your hand all the time, but yes it should be banned since like UTC said you could spam final flame, hinotoma, or sparks until your opponent loses.

And I quote the rulings:

  • This card’s effect is only applied once, the first time the Spell Card it was chained to is sent from the field to the Graveyard for any reason. This includes an Equip Spell Card equipped to a monster Tributed for a Tribute Summon, or a card sent to the Graveyard as a cost for "Emergency Provisions", etc.

Thus, Spell Reclamation is just one-use. This ruling is valid for both TCG and OCG. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 05:25, June 30, 2010 (UTC)
