My main deck is currently Dragunities (as I have almost everything needed except all three Vajrayana and a Scrap Dragon). What are good side-deck cards for them?BobaFett2 (talk)

Dust Tornado, since RFP cards will destroy you, and also to prevent your field Spell from being replaced, as well as removing a crippling Necrovalley in the absence of Ravine. Perhaps Burial from a Different Dimension, if you face a deck that RFPs but not on a regular basis. Anything that helps you against your toughest matchups. Spell Shattering Arrow is inferior to Dust Tornado, Cyber Dragon should be sided in twos, put Chimeratech right in the Extra deck, you can spare one slot, Victoria is out of place and not a good side deck anyways, GBs shouldn't be giving you a lot of trouble, D.D. Warrior Lady is again out of place and a bad side deck card, and Mind Crush is bad.

The point of side decking is to give you an easier matchup against your toughest opponents, not to side in one or two cards for every deck out there. A dedicated side deck will see you siding in 7+ cards every round, or none at all because it's not necessary. Lappyzard (talk • contribs) 03:17, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, every time I duel GBs, I lose because of Retiari and Bestiari (no more Ravine or no more Phalanx/Aklys). I need to get rid of it as soon as possible. I'll move Chimeratech to my Extra Deck. Okay, so no Victoria since I'll have no trouble with Dragunities or Disaster Dragons. My toughest matchup is GK, so I'll need some stuff to side against them.BobaFett2 (talk)

Okay, I took out Victoria, Chimeratech, and Mind Crush, added in Cyber Dragon, D.D. Warrior Lady, and Cyber Dragon. I'll take out a D.D. Crow for a Dust Tornado. I'm keeping Spell-Shattering Arrow because Samurai have 7 Continuous Spell Cards to get rid of and they often have one or two out. Is Imperial Iron Wall a good side?BobaFett2 (talk)

well depending on how you have your deck set up you could do a couple things. you can have it set up to counter the main meta at your local area, you can have an all around side like what you already have (just make sure that with both of these options it doesn't screw up the synergy of your deck), or what i did with my dragunity deck was i set it up to be a type of hopeless/disaster dragon deck by siding 3 wyverns, 3 dodger dragons, 2 prime material dragons, 2 dragons mirrors, and a couple of other items. hope this helps.
