So recently I discovered that, by rule, for Return of the Dragon Lords to revive cards like Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon or a level 7/8 Synchro Dragon, you must have first summoned them properly (Summoned by its own effect and Synchro Summon, respectively), which means not by Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon, Ultimaya (both for the Synchro Dragons' case), or even if you sent them to the grave with Foolish Burial (for Alternative and similar cards), for example. What I want to ask is if this ruling applies for every card that Special Summons from the grave, for certain cards only, or if it only applies for this one in particular. - It applies for every card effect that Special Summons from the Graveyard, even card effects that ignore the Summoning conditions. (However, keep in mind that "ignoring the Summoning conditions" works fine if you're Special Summoning from the hand or Deck.) --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 19:48, October 1, 2016 (UTC)
