Am I allowed to simply send cards on my side of the field to the graveyard? Do I need a special effect or some spell card to do this? For example say I have the "Magical Citadel of Endymion" out on the field, and something like a "Silent Magician lvl4" and I have some counters on it. Now if I wanna get those counters to my field card, can I just send my monster card to the graveyard, and get his spell counters put on the card as due to it's special effect, or does there have to be a more indirect way of doing this?
- No. Cards on the field cannot be removed from it (that includes removing from play, destroying or returning the card to the Hand/Deck) except with an effect that specifies that action. (e.g. Zaborg the Thunder Monarch ) Fluf (talk • contribs) 20:58, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
- How about field cards? can't they be sacrificed/destroyed?
- If you mean the Field Spells, no. As I said before once a card hits a field it stays there until it is removed from it by a card effect - you cannot remove cards by yourself. Also cards cannot change their Card Zone. That means that if your opponent has seen a Spell/Trap card on your field you cannot place it on another Spell and Trap card Zone to keep the opponent from destroying it.
