My friend is the biggest whinner in this entire world. I flip summoned Summoner of Illusions then activated Soul Exchange to tribute one of his monsters and summon The Last Warrior From Another Planet and he insisted that I couldn't use his monster as a sac. I don't know if he can't read or something but it clearly says on Soul Exchange to sac an opponent's monster in place of one of your own. Please tell me I'm right so I can show him this. Another thing; If a face-down Summoner of Illusions is attacked and destroyed and I control another monster, do I have no choise to use its effect or can I choose not to? Third, can I activate Dimention Hole from my hand, when my opponent activates a trap to destroy my monster, to save it? Fourth, can I use Soul Exchange when The Last Warrior is summoned to sac one of my opponent's monsters and save one of my own? Last, if The Last Warrior is Special Summoned by Summoner of Illusions and is destroyed, can I bring it back from the grave or does it have to be properly Fusion Summoned? I know this is a lot and I thank you for all your help. Mastermind6656 04:25, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

First, you have to activate "Soul Exchange" before "Summoner of Illusions"'s effect is activated. But you are right, you can Tribute an opponent's monster with "Soul Exchange".
Second, you don't have a choice. As long as you have a valid monster in your Extra Deck, you must Tribute a monster to Special Summon it.
Third, you cannot. Normal Spell Cards cannot chain to anything, since Normal Spell Cards are Spell Speed 1.
Fourth, you cannot. It has to be Fusion Summoned for you to revive it.
