My opponent controls a face-up Evolzar Dolkka with 2 xyz materials. Here's the situation: 1. I excavated 3 sylvan cards, Sylvan Marshalleaf, Sylvan Flowerknight, Sylvan Cherubsprout, I said to him/her that I should arrange the chain link first before he/she could respond, is that right?? 2. I have Sylvan Sagequoia in my hand then a Sylvan Monster card was excavated(Sylvan Marshalleaf, can I say that I will activate the effect of sagequoia first and then followed by marshalleaf before he/she can use the effect of Dolkka?? 3. Someone told me that dolkka's effect can be chained in between the chain links in no. 1Black`Rose (talkcontribs) 02:56, March 22, 2014 (UTC)

Your post was a little confusing to me. As such, I will attempt to explain out what you said. Please let me know if I am right.
1. You are in the middle of resolving an effect that would excavate 3 cards off the top of your Deck and send any Plants to the Graveyard.
2. Three cards are sent to the graveyard through this effect: "Sylvan Marshalleaf", "Sylvan Flowerknight" and "Sylvan Cherubsprout"
3. You wish to establish the chain as Chain 1 -> "Sylvan Sagequoia", Chain 2 -> "Sylvan Marshalleaf", (Then Chain 3 could be "Evolzar Dolkka")
If this is right, I will answer the questions. If I am wrong, please understand that the answers may be different.
Okay, when multiple cards are activated at the same time, you follow the following: Simultaneous Effects Go On Chain
What does that mean? Well, If you have any Mandatory effects, you add them to the chain. Then your opponent adds any mandatory effects to the chain. Then you add any Optional effects to the chain, then your opponent. Then, additional cards can be activated to add to the chain.
In this case, the chain should be something like the following: Chain 1 -> (There are no Mandatory effects), Choose one of the following to activate: "Sylvan Sagequoia", "Sylvan Marshalleaf", "Sylvan Flowerknight" or "Sylvan Cherubsprout". Chain 2 -> (Choose a second card from that list), Chain 3 - > (Choose a third card from that list), Chain 4 -> (the last card is added to this chain), Chain 5 -> ? (At this time, the opponent can activate a card like "Evolzar Dolkka").
All the cards are Optional, so you do not have to use their effects, however all of these cards are primed for activation. I mean that all them have their effects activating at the same moment.
One last thing, I am not fully sure that you can say that "Sylvan Sagequoia" is part of the initial chain. It does specify when a "Sylvan" is sent to the Graveyard, however the fact that it is optional tells me that I may be wrong due to it being in the hand. If so, you would have to have the other three "Sylvan" cards activate first, and then have "Sylvan Sagequoia" occur after that. Regardless, because all these cards are reacting to a "Sylvan" monster (or themself) being excavated to the graveyard, "Evolzar Dolkka" cannot activate at the same time (or in between) because it is not the correct time. (Dolkka requires a monster's effect being activated, not a "Sylvan" card being excavated). It can still be used to negate the last card on the chain before it, however.

Trigger Effs always activate first. Simple.-- (talkcontribs) 03:26, March 24, 2014 (UTC)
Unfortunately, that didn't fully answer the question, but maybe it did? Are all the Trigger Effects able to be chained in the Turn Player's order? Or is "Sylvan Sagequoia" forced to be last? By your response, I would guess that, Black`Rose, you can chain "Sagequoia" at any point in the first 4 links of the chain. As such, you can avoid the effect of "Evolzar Dolkka" being used on "Sagequoia" or any other specific monster. --LordGeovanni- (Talk To Me) *Kupo* 05:50, March 24, 2014 (UTC)
All of them have the same timing, so the player arranges them.-- (talkcontribs) 09:59, March 24, 2014 (UTC)
