Forum:Synchro Dragon Deck, any suggestions welcome!

Hello. I was bored and was looking through cards on yugioh.wikia.com. I happened to stumble across Majestic Star Dragon, so I thought I would make a Synchro Dragon Deck to get him out fast and effectively.

Tell me what you think of it. I will take any ideas or suggestions that will make it better. Also, with this kind of deck how hard would it be to get out King Dragun? I am thinking of putting him in but do not know how much he will take away from the Synchro aspect as of yet.

I would very much like this deck to be competitive for local tournament use since this deck seems like it could be a lot of fun to play!

Thanks for any help you might give! Pyles89 17:57, November 7, 2009 (UTC)Pyles89

  • If you're trying to summon Majestic Star Dragon, you first have to be able to quickly and efficiently summon Stardust. The best ways to summon Stardust don't necessarily revolve around dragons; they revolve around Lv4 tuners. I recommend the following; Summoner Monk, Flamvell Firedog and Flamvell Magician, and Mist Valley Soldier. Rose, Warrior of Revenge may also be a good choice. Utilizing those cards can help summon a first turn Stardust Dragon, which in turn helps you achieve your main focus. --Tantara (talk) 05:41, November 8, 2009 (UTC)

Almost got Majestic out.

I spent easily 8hours dueling with the deck yesterday. I noticed that I would have a hand with my only monsters being tuner with out masked dragon or non-tuner monsters and my opponent beats masked dragon by non battle. I do get out Trident Dragion the most. I also get Tyrant Dragon every duel, which really hurts my opponent because he is tough to take off the field. I think I am going to remove the 2 Stardust Xiaolong and the 3 Debris Dragon to add 1 Summoner Monk and 3 Mist Valley Soldier and 1 Sangan. Pyles89 16:09, November 8, 2009 (UTC)Pyles89
