The other day I was playing an alien deck, and my opponent had out Code A Ancient Ruins, an equip card, and and then playedAlien Ammonite, and then brought out a level four alien. He then proceed to do an a combo withCode A Ancient Ruins, by bringing out 3 Cosmic Fortress Gol'gars and Ally Justice Castor. He says that by syncro summoning, he is destroying his aliens, allowing him to get the A Counters for Code A Ancient Ruins. Does syncro summoning "destroy" the monsters being used for syncro summon?--HiddenLight333 (talk • contribs) 02:43, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
No. Synchro summoning send the monsters to the graveyard. MobiusxXx (talk • contribs) 04:15, August 15, 2010 (UTC)

Ok thanks. I will be sure to inform him next time I see him. Well, if the monster is neither tributed nor destroyed, then what is it exactly?--HiddenLight333 (talk • contribs) 07:57, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
It is just sent to the graveyard. It is neither tributed, nor destroyed.-- HHTurtle Talk 08:02, August 15, 2010 (UTC)
