If your opponent has no cards on their side of the field, you have Skill Drain, Begone, Knave! and Mist Valley Thunderbird on your side of the field, and if you attack with your Mist Valley Thunderbird and return it to your hand, is it special summonned to your side then? If, its effet that would make it unable to attack is negated, and it can attack attack again, and be returned to your hand, and summoned, and attack... Is this OTK possible? Since Thunderbird is returned to your hand where it's not negated, it should be summoned.Ancientgearking 18:22, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
Seems fine, it doesn't declare it's a condition, though...
- The effect of "Mist Valley Thunderbird" which Special Summons it is a Trigger Effect that activates in the hand.[1]
- The "cannot attack" effect of "Mist Valley Thunderbird" is resolved as the same effect which Special Summons it.[
Implies the cannot attack activates in the hand, but should still be fine, as it's Skill Drain~-Resk 18:29, March 18, 2010 (UTC)
- It doesn't work. The last sentence is a condition, similar to that of "Chaos Sorcerer". "Skill Drain" can't negate it. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 01:00, March 19, 2010 (UTC)
