Underground Arachnid's ability says that it cannot be equip by more than one monster. If a monster is equip to this monster, and a monster "forces" itself to equip to this monster then what? Also in reverse, if this monster has a monster equip to it by another effect, can it equip an opponent's monster to itself through its effect?
- To make it easier, I will give two examples:
- I have Underground Arachnid with Kuriboh as an equip and it attacks Blast Sphere. Can Blast Sphere equip itself to Underground Arachnid? Underground Arachnid's effect says that "You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card" so I would believe that Blast Sphere's effect would work due to Blast Sphere not belonging to the "You" in the card's effect.
- I have Underground Arachnid with no monster equipt and it attacks Blast Sphere. Can I equip an opponent's monster to Underground Arachnid after that battle to "bring it down with me" in a suicide charge?

Mermaid Archer also says "(You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card.)"
- and on her rulings page, you see "If “Mermaid Archer” is equipped with a monster by its own effect, and also equipped with “Metallizing Parasite - Lunatite” at the same time, and it would be destroyed, “Metallizing Parasite - Lunatite” automatically destroys itself with its effect, so you cannot choose to destroy the other monster equipped to “Mermaid Archer.”"
- That implies that you can have 2 Equips on the card, so
- I think the "(You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card.)" only applies to Equipping with it's own effect. Falzar FZ 10:06, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
