Recently, a new Duel Terminal Archtype called Vairon was released in the OCG, with some of its best stuff coming out in Duel Terminal - Judgment of Omega!! such as Vairon Tetra, Vairon Sphere, and Vairon Omega. Most if not all of the Vairon cards revolve around the use of Equip Cards to gain effects and advantages, some even having the ability to equip THEMSELVES onto other Vairon Monsters. Also, most of the monsters are either Fairy or Machine Type monsters, all of them sharing the LIGHT Attribute which opens up opportunities for other LIGHT cards to mix well with them such as Honest and assorted Lightsworn cards. I think they might have potential to either mix with other LIGHT cards or be used to increase the power of Equip based Decks like Morphtronics and such, but I wanted to get your opinions and idea's here so that maybe we can all get a good idea where this kind of Archtype stands. So with that, comment away! :) --Sky Scourge God (talkcontribs) 19:30, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

Hey who knows? Maybe you can mix them with Dragunity. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 23:31, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

These monsters are each named after elite squadrons, the great thing about this acrhetype is 4 things

  • 1-They can power up easy
  • 2-They can add a lot of hand resources and field resources
  • 3-Most of them let you select the equip spell card you want,by having different types in your deck you can respond to most situations, for instance some equip cards lets you revive your monsters, add piercing damage, even remove cards from your opponents grave.
  • 4-Almsot all the monsters of this archetype has a great effect that benfits you especially in gathering hand resources, out of all of them the only one that appears bad is "Sigma"

So essentially yeah their a great Archetype and they have some really nice equip spell cards nowadays,a great monster to add in the extra deck instead of sigma would be Power Tool Dragon as he lets you pretty much get a equip card every turn and of course that means even more hand resources(come on you know you like drawing cards and making people mad, thats why they pretty much banned every card in the game that lets you draw cards) also a lot of these can be searched out with Shining angel or Nova Summoner especially the tuners, with this and the Artifical Angels Archetype all i have left to ask is this, after we die and go to heaven are we gonna become machines with angel wings? That seems to be Konami's perception here :P.Raventheblack (talkcontribs) 05:28, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Apparently I can't seem to agree with you more. I don't want to be a machine and rather be a zombie. However Konami just want to make more light cards and maybe try to go against dark cards because they have way too much support. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:17, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

I don't know...they seem to be a good archetype, with high equip spell search power. [Sigh], if only there was a Vairon card that allowed for more swarming, like Dragunities and its Dragunity Phalanx. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm not sure if it will become a top-tier deck like Dragunities will though. 75.34.42.13 (talk) 21:35, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Yes when we die and go to the afterlife(and yes that is a resident evil reference based off the movie in theatres)we will have a choice of becoming optimus prime or a mad eating zombie who can get sweet revenge on those we didnt like in highschool....such choices....."Anyways some of you may not like that this archetype does not have swarm abilities, thing is they dont have to swarming for most people is to only synchro summon but with this archetype most of your even basic monsters will have access to equip cards easily making them have atk power of 3000 or higher(try cards like megamorph, unstable evolution,or even axe of despair,so essentially they dont need to synchro summon fast like other archetypes and you can use cards like Release Restraint Wave at the cost of 1 equip spell card you can blow away your opponents facedown cards,Cursed Armaments is not only great for this deck but can be combo'ed with Release Restraint Wave its such a delightfully nasty card nobody takes advantage of.Raventheblack (talkcontribs) 20:59, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Argh references! Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 05:19, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

Oh also upon speculation this archetype can be combined with the "Guardian"archetype which they require their specific equip spell cards on the field,Guardian Grarl and Guardian Eatos are very nice for this type of deck especially Eatos since shes a fairy, although honestly i thik we can all agree that most of the guardian archetype in simple words pretty much blows, still theres possibilities.Raventheblack (talkcontribs) 16:55, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah that can work. I think maybe a problem is that if you use too much equips, a Straight Flush would be pretty handy. Then again, no one uses the card much today anyways. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 23:13, October 19, 2010 (UTC)
