Forum:Volcanic Queen effect

Im going to use Volcanic Queen in my D.D Deck. The effect says I can send one other card I control to the graveyard to inflict 1000 damage to my opponent. Does it refer to me who special summoned it to the opponents side of the field, or he who controls it on his side of the field?

And both players have to either tribute one monster on the field to the graveyard during the end phase or take 1000 damage, because of her second effect. Can I use D.D Surivor to either both effect with Dimensional Fissure and tribute him. But because he will be removed from play and not send to the graveyard, does Volcanic Queens effect still work or do I have to take 1000 damage?

And by the way of do I write down my name? /Rosef

Tributing is the cost. It doesn't matter where the monster goes afterwards. So you're safe like that. --Gadjiltron 13:11, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Volcanic Queen

when you play Volcanic Queen you tribute one of their monsters, then special summon it to their side of the field. the rest of the effects are controlled by your opponent because they control the card. basically, you need to lock them down, i.e. Gravity Bind, Level Limit - Area B or Messenger of Peace etc. so that they can't use the Volcanic Queen and at the end of each turn they either take 1000 damage or have to tribute one of their monsters. alternatively, you can play Remove Brainwashing or Owner's Seal to regain control of Volcanic Queen and also have gotten rid of one of their monsters in the process. -- iamthekyleb

"Volcanic Queen"'s last two effects refer to the person who controls it.

The last part (Tribute 1 monster or take 1000 Damage) only applies to her controller - it's only during her controller's turn, and only her controller Tributes/takes damage.

"Dimensional Fissure"/"Macro Cosmos" won't stop the last effect since it only says "Tribute", and a Tribute can be to the Graveyard or Removed Zone. However, it will stop her second-to-last effect, since that specifies that the card has to be sent to the Graveyard.

Lastly, you can sign your name with four tildes ~~~~. This automatically creates a signature for you. --Deus Ex Machina 21:43, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
