Forum:What do you think of my WATER deck?

After experimenting with Frogs, Fish and Sea Serpents, I finally settled on a happy combination of the best WATER monsters, complete with massive ATK boosts, and helpful shenanigans. Monsters: Atlantean Pikeman(x2);
Deep Sea Diva(x3);
Marshmallon;
Snowman Eater(x2);
Spined Gillman(x3);
Mother Grizzly;
Skreech;
Armed Sea Hunter(x2);
Cyber Shark(x2);
Mobius the Frost Monarch(x2);
Gorz the Emissary of Darkness;
Spiral Serpent(x2).

Spells: Lightning Vortex;
Big Wave Small Wave;
Water Hazard;
Axe of Despair(x2);
Salvage(x3).

Traps: Magic Cylinder;
Miniaturize;
Graceful Revival;
Call of the Haunted;
Bottomless Trap Hole(x2);
Negate Attack(x2);
Destruction Jammer(x2);
Metal Reflect Slime(x2).

Synchros: Armory Arm;
Magical Android;
Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon(x3);
Iron Chain Dragon;
Black Rose Dragon;
Ancient Fairy Dragon;
Psychic Lifetrancer(x2);
Colossal Fighter;
Thought Ruler Archfiend;
Stardust Dragon;
Red Dragon Archfiend;
Hyper Psychic Blaster.

This deck allows a great deal of adaptability towards many different opposing deck types. When Normal summoned, Deep Sea Diva allows me to search out a level 3 or lower sea serpent, and special summon it, allowing me to Synchro summon Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon, Armory Arm or Magical Android in the blink of an eye. Cyber Shark is also incredibly useful, providing me with a level 5, 2100 ATK monster as a normal summon (assuming I control a WATER monster). Hyper Psychic Blaster is my secret weapon, since a Psychic-type is not expected to appear in a WATER deck, especially since it requires Psychic-type non-Tuners. But if I control the easily-summonable Cyber Shark, and normal summon Deep Sea Diva, I can special summon another Diva, and synch it with the Shark for a Psychic Lifetrancer. Then, I can synch the other Diva with the Lifetrancer to get Hyper Psychic Blaster. Metal Reflect Slime can block most attacks while I build up a strategy, and Destruction Jammer protects me from numerous destructive effects. All in all, this deck provides a massive amount of maneuverability and surprise; but I think it could be better. It is easily crippled by cards that mess with my Graveyard and the Types of my monsters, like Macro Cosmos and Zombie World. And, like most WATER decks, it severely lacks draw power, which is a problem considering many of my cards require discarding costs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I fixed up your deck list for you. And here's my version of a WATER deck...

All the cards in this deck will soon come out. This deck is adept at synchro summoning, thanks to Treeborn Frog, Deep Sea Diva, and especially Ogre Frog. And to answer your concerns about draw power, WATER decks are getting Moray of Greed in Stardust Overdrive, so that's good. Also, because of the large amount of discarding and milling this deck pulls off, it can easily use 3 Pots of Avarice. Runer5h 16:00, October 4, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h
