I need suggestions on what I should change in the deck. If you are confused as to how a card is useful in this deck, just ask me so people won't start saying: "This card is such a random choice for this deck." Crediblemicah (talkcontribs) 15:21, December 9, 2017 (UTC)

It'd help if you'd explain what Deck you're trying to build. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 15:31, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
Well, the main idea is to Special Summon a bunch of smaller monsters onto the field to use for Link Summons (P.S. I've only been playing this game for like, a month, so my apologies if I sound like a total noob xD). Crediblemicah (talkcontribs) 16:10, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
One way to do that is via Pendulum Summoning. Just set the scale with 1 Pendulum Monster's low scal (like 1 or 2) on one side and 1 Pendulum Monster's high scale (say 8) on the other. There are also cards that Special Summon Token s like Scapegoat (though Scapegoat will have to be activated during your opponent's turn or you can't use the Tokens during your turn). Similarly, there's also Scapeghost, which works like Scapegoat but you can do what you want with the Tokens. All it has to do is be flipped face-up from face-down. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 17:24, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
Should I add both? Also what should I take out to make room for it/them? Crediblemicah (talkcontribs) 18:31, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
I'd say try one of each. As for what to remove, definitely take out Punch-in-the-Box. It's pretty situational as a whole. Negate Attack would be a better alternative. Also, your ratio of monsters spells and traps is pretty lopsided, even if 8 of those monsters are Extra Deck monsters. Pot of Duality will probably screw you over because whether or not you get good cards, you won't be Special Summoning that turn. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 18:40, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
So I should probably have around the same amount of Monsters, Spells, and Traps? I added more Monsters just to decrease the chance of getting a bad starting hand. But I guess getting Scapegoat or Scapeghost would make up for that. Crediblemicah (talkcontribs) 18:44, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
Well truth be told, there's no real way to eliminate a bad starting hand. They happen regardless of what Deck you build. Of course, a Deck filled with more monsters means you risk having a hand of just monsters and thus can't really defend yourself or protect them from your opponent's cards. Having a Deck that is more-or-less even will mitigate having a had hand of all one card type. If you set each card type amount to 14 (as 14 x 3 is 42), you'll not only be even but you'll still have a good Deck size for Duels. --MasterMarik (talkcontribs) 18:53, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
Alright, thanks! Just ordered Scapegoat and Scapeghost :D I'll try em' out when they arrive! Crediblemicah (talkcontribs) 18:58, December 9, 2017 (UTC)
